Beyond Layers – Day 10 – Painterly Effect

This was a very long editing session utilising 2 textures, Sienna and Finale.
The image I chose for this exercise was taken in December 2011 in New Zealand – Church of Good Shepherd built in 1934 and situated right at the foreshore of Lake Tekapo.

    WOW…Ingrid, this is really amazing from the original to the textured image…the painterly feeling is very prominent and it seems to have added some strong 3 dimensional effects to the bricks on this old church. Can’t decide which pic I like best, both have some very nice qualities!
