Beyond Layers – Day 3 – Your 6 Word Memoir

Today’s challenge if you wish to accept it is:

“You in six words”
‘Sure, your life story could fill a thousand pages – but sometimes a few words are ALL YOU NEED.’

Hmmm.  I could not think of anything clever at all.  We all do not particularly like writing about ourselves, so this is what struck me and it stayed with me all day.  I stumbled across this image of my beloved mother, brother and little me.  There are so many memories of that time that are dear to my heart and what has made me, who I am today.   So I thought I put this into fruition….“Life in Moments…..Moments in Life”

Left Image:
is using KK Plastersquare texture, cropped, applied the texture. Reduced the saturation and vibrancy then and over layed an old photograph frame.
Right Image:
I had edited sometime ago from an original photograph. Cannot remember the process on that one.

Oh wow…so much I love about this. First, the sentiment…I so agree with it. And secondly I just adore old family photos. And I really like how your eyes just pierce out of this photo. I feel as if you are looking at me.

This is really inspired, Ingrid … the words are heartfelt but it is the photograph that underpins them beautifully.ReplyCancel

I agree with all the comments made before mine…I LOVE this, Ingrid! How appropriate to select an image so meaningful to your life. It really sums up the challenge completely “you in six words”.
